Filmmaker Soundarya Rajinikanth has confirmed that her father, superstar Rajinikanth, has completed the story for a sequel to his 1999 blockbuster ‘Padayappa’. While the narrative is ready, a director and a timeline for ‘Padayappa 2’ are yet to be decided. Rajinikanth is currently focused on ‘Jailer 2’, slated for a mid-2026 release.
