In 2024, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes pledged $5 million to Texas Tech University’s South End Zone and Dustin R. Womble Football Center project. The donation strengthened Mahomes’ connection to his alma mater, where he began his college career. Texas Tech honoured him by naming a walkthrough area, quarterback meeting room and coordinator’s office after him. School officials praised the couple for supporting future Red Raiders and student-athletes.
