Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ KC Current have received a major boost after Port KC secured up to $72 million in federal funding for a new bridge near CPKC Stadium. The project will eliminate three dangerous railway crossings and improve access to the riverfront. The bridge forms part of an $800 million development featuring thousands of homes, restaurants, shops and improved transport connections. Planning begins immediately, but construction dates remain unconfirmed.
