Petroleum minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched PNG Drive 3.0 to promote piped natural gas usage in India. The campaign aims to run from October 2026 to March 2027 and increase natural gas’s share in India’s energy mix. PNGRB has set a target for adding several new domestic PNG connections and activating inactive ones. Despite previous challenges, the government plans to enhance the natural gas network efficiently.
