Rupee under pressure: Currency slips to 94.50 as oil rises, Dalal Street struggles in red

The Indian Rupee fell by 12 paise, settling at 94.50 against the US dollar, driven primarily by surging crude oil prices. However, the currency found some respite from a weaker dollar and declining US treasury yields. Local stock market volatility and climbing oil costs further pressured the rupee. Notably, foreign institutional investors recently bought Rs 1,022.32 crore in equities.
