The upcoming Shah Rukh Khan film ‘King’ has made headlines by securing a record overseas distribution deal valued at Rs 175 crore, approximately USD 18 million, with Phars Films. This transaction sets a new benchmark for Indian cinema. To recoup the significant investment, ‘King’ is projected to need overseas earnings in the range of Rs 350 crore to Rs 375 crore.
