Shiv Kapur, last to win Asian Games gold in golf for India, hopeful two-decade-long medal wait will end

Shiv Kapur hopes India’s golfers can end a 24-year wait for an individual Asian Games gold at Nagoya 2026. India fields six golfers, including Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar and Pranavi Urs. Kapur, who won gold at Busan 2002, believes the team’s international experience and recent performances give India a strong chance of winning medals in both individual and team events.
