Five people were injured in a pile-up on the Sion-Panvel highway caused by an MSRTC bus. The bus crashed into five vehicles, including three auto rickshaws and two cars, near Belapur flyover. Two auto drivers sustained critical injuries, while the passengers in the autos were out of danger. The bus driver lost control reportedly due to brake failure, and an FIR will be registered against him.
