SRFTI students allege classroom power cut amid protest; institute denies targeting protesters

Students of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute have alleged that electricity to a classroom used for internet access and workstation facilities was cut during their ongoing protest. The administration has denied targeting protesters and defended the rustication of six students. The standoff follows allegations of campus violence, demands for accountability and the suspension of academic activities until November 13.
