Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty recounted an incident where he was held at gunpoint by U.S. police shortly after the 9/11 attacks due to his appearance. While shooting in LA for the film Kaante, he was mistaken for a threat. He stressed the fear and bias against individuals with certain ethnic features during that period.
