Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has reiterated the state’s demand to abolish NEET during a meeting with Nandan Nilekani-led High Powered Task Force on Examination Reforms. The state favoured Class 12 marks-based admissions and cited the Assembly’s unanimous resolution against the medical entrance examination passed on August 11, 2026.
