Tata Capital has given the green light for an all-cash acquisition of Yogakshemam Loans, marking its entry into the gold loan sector. Valued at up to Rs 318 crore, this deal involves infusing primary capital and acquiring shares from current investors. This strategic move will diversify Tata Capital’s offerings with a new secured lending product. Yogakshemam Loans has a robust presence with 162 branches in four southern states.
