Sanjay Suri, who plays Jasmer in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, opened up about his deep personal connect with the film. Having lost his father during the Kashmir militancy in 1990, Suri said the film’s themes of displacement, grief and loss of home resonated with his own family’s lived history.
