Emily Kinney will return to The Walking Dead universe in season three. She will appear in an alternate reality episode of Dead City. Kinney revealed her cameo alongside co-star Lauren Cohan at Comic-Con. The new season of Dead City premieres on July 26, 2026. This installment focuses on rebuilding Manhattan into a safe community.
