The Indian women’s football team is set to play their first international match against Russia at Salt Lake Stadium. Head coach Crispin Chettri mentioned the importance of playing against higher-ranked teams for development. The match follows the team’s SAFF Championship victory in June and serves to expose younger players to international competition.
