Tragedy struck Chatra district as three young men lost their lives in separate road accidents. Two cousins, Shashikant and Saurabh Kumar, were killed when a speeding coal truck collided with their scooter on the Tandwa–Piparwar road. In a separate incident, Vikas Kumar Yadav was fatally run over by a truck on NH-22.
