Lebanese authorities arrested TikTok food influencer Georges Dib, known as Doctor Food, on August 23. He was sought for alleged drug-related crimes involving food products made by his businesses. Police had reportedly been searching for Dib for years and he was previously sentenced in absentia. Investigators believe Dib avoided capture while continuing to post videos online for his followers.
