The air quality in Delhi-NCR has substantially deteriorated, with the Air Quality Index registering an alarming 168, indicating unhealthy conditions. Toxic foam has resurfaced on the Yamuna River, particularly around Kalindi Kunj. In response, the Commission for Air Quality Management has initiated Stage 1 of the Graded Response Action Plan.
