Uttar Pradesh has introduced the UP Free School Uniform and Bag Scheme to support students’ educational needs. This initiative provides financial assistance of Rs 1,200 annually for essential school items, which is transferred directly to parents’ Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. The scheme aims to alleviate financial burdens on families with children in government and recognized schools.
