The local assembly of the Tayron R-line is underway at the company’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar plant. Once introduced, it will take on rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, the upcoming MG Majestor, Jeep Meridian and the Skoda Kodiaq in the Indian market. The Tayron is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine.
