World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka has called for the WTA and ATP to scrap mandatory tournaments, saying players should be free to prioritise their health. Backing Carlos Alcaraz’s concerns over the packed calendar, Sabalenka warned players may have to sacrifice ranking points and positions if the tours refuse to ease the schedule. She said protecting their bodies must come first.
