Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, George Kurian, has resigned following the conclusion of his Rajya Sabha term. President Droupadi Murmu accepted his resignation on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advice. Kurian, reportedly the sole Christian in the Council of Ministers, expressed gratitude to PM Modi for the “unimagined” opportunity to serve, highlighting his personal meeting to submit his resignation after his term ended.
