A retired Army major has accused a Thane woman of honey-trapping him. She allegedly extorted twenty lakh rupees by threatening false criminal cases. The woman also filed a rape case against the victim, leading to his arrest. While he was in custody, she extorted money from his relative. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter further.
