Four Birbhum residents returned to India after a thirteen-month ordeal. They were deported as illegal Bangladeshi immigrants without a tribunal hearing. The group was working as ragpickers in Delhi when police apprehended them. Bangladeshi authorities later jailed them for illegal entry before their release. One man reunited with his seven-month-old son after his return home.
