A highly venomous Russell’s Viper was discovered in the basement of Mumbai Metro Line 3’s BKC station on Tuesday. Security personnel alerted wildlife rescuers who found the snake dehydrated and weak. After being given water, the viper was safely captured and released into its natural habitat. Experts anticipate more snake sightings as monsoon rains displace them.
