Rosatom has installed the reactor pressure vessel for unit-5 of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu. This marks a significant construction milestone. The operation used the Open Top method. The vessel was manufactured at the Atommash plant. This installation paves the way for further main equipment installation. India and Russia’s cooperation is key to the Kudankulam project’s success.
